Islamic terrorists have declared Friday, October 13th, as a day of worldwide Jihad. The village consulted with the Nassau County Police Department, our County Legislator and County Executive and were advised that there is no specific threat to our area. They asked us to remain extremely vigilant. The Police Department will be deploying additional resources and enhanced security measures at all houses of worship and schools.
It is now more important than ever to remember that “IF YOU SEE SOMETHING, SAY SOMETHING”.
They have urged us to report any and all suspicious activity, loitering, and unclaimed parcels to 9-1-1. Don’t place yourself or your fellow congregants and neighbors in harm’s way by not making a report.
