Memorial Day is fast approaching, and the Village of Cedarhurst invites its residents to celebrate not only with barbecues and picnics, but also with properly displaying our nation’s flag. The flag should be flown only from sunrise to sunset, unless illuminated properly at night.
Today, President Donald J. Trump Proclaims May 15, 2018, as Peace Officers Memorial Day and May 13 through May 19, 2018, as Police Week. All flags shall be lowered to half-staff from dusk to dawn, this includes all flags on Village buildings and stationary flagstaffs throughout the Village of Cedarhurst.
