Celebrate a Meaningful Memorial Day Weekend
If you’re searching for a festive and meaningful way to spend Memorial Day Weekend, the annual Cedarhurst-Lawrence Memorial Day Parade offers an ideal opportunity to honor America, our Veterans, and local community volunteer organizations.
Parade Details
The parade will begin at 10:00 AM on Sunday, May 24th. Participants will march from Frost Lane along Central Avenue, making their way to Cedarhurst’s Parise Park for a heart-warming memorial ceremony.
Family Movie Night
Later in the evening, join us in Parise Park at 7:45 PM for a Free Family Movie Night featuring “A League of Their Own.” This comedy-drama film is based on the real-life All-American women’s professional baseball league that was formed during World War II to lift American spirits.
This uplifting family movie is sponsored by The Village of Cedarhurst and the Merchants of Cedarhurst. It is presented as a thank you for shopping locally and supporting your community.
