With Erev Pesach right around the corner, we want to ensure that you have a little less stress in getting the house ready for Pesach. That’s why Sanitary District No. 1 in conjunction with the Village of Cedarhurst is proud to provide enhanced collection services throughout the Five Towns, including Cedarhurst, on Wednesday, April 5th, 2023, between 7:00 AM and 1:00 PM.
We understand how busy this time of year can be, so we want to make it as easy as possible for you to dispose of your Chometz. Please take advantage of this special Erev Pesach pickup service by placing your garbage in securely tied bags at the curb in front of your home. The dedicated collection crews will be driving around Cedarhurst to collect the trash, but can only do so if it is placed in securely tied bags at the front curb in front of your home.
Please note that they will be unable to collect garbage left in cans, so we kindly request that you follow these guidelines to help them provide the best possible service. By doing so, you will ensure timely Erev Pesach pickup for all residents.
