The final repaving and surface restoration from curb to curb is nearly complete. Because of the multiple paving crews that we used today, an amazing amount of surfacing was completed in just one day. Central Avenue has been repaved from Maple Avenue to Washington Avenue. Parts of Spruce, Carman, Columbia, Maple, Cedarhurst and Willow have also been completed.
On Thursday, April 25th, there will be additional paving work on Cedarhurst Avenue from the LIRR tracks to Oak Avenue.
All of the repaved streets will remain closed tomorrow on a rolling basis for re-striping. Please do not enter any of the streets that have been closed so that the striping can dry properly.
The parking lot serving Gourmet Glatt will be accessible only from Washington Avenue.
