Are you worried about the last-minute disposal of Chometz? The Commissioners, Superintendent and the hardworking employees of Sanitary District No. 1 are proud once again to provide enhanced collection service throughout the Five Towns on Erev Pesach.
Out of an abundance of caution for the safety of our residents and the District’s workforce, there will not be any drop off locations this year. However, the District will provide enhanced curbside collections on Wednesday, April 8th.
“All Day Pickup” (between 7:00 AM & 12 Noon)
Sanitary District 1 will provide curbside pickups from 7:00 am to noon. Even if you had a regular rear-door trash pickup and find that you need to dispose of additional items, simply place the unwanted items in sturdy, securely tied bags and place them at the curb and they will be collected. Do not use your regular garbage cans.
