The extensive restoration work at the Rockaway Turnpike Crossing in Lawrence will be carried out continuously from 4:00 AM on Wednesday, July 23rd until 11:00 PM on Thursday, July 24th.
No thru traffic will be allowed while work is in progress. If you’re driving through the area, please plan ahead and use Lawrence Avenue or Washington Avenue as alternate routes as Pearsall Avenue and Mulry Lane will be closed. MTA Police will be on site to support the closure and ensure public safety.
