Free Disability Awareness Fair 2018

The Village of Cedarhurst is hosting a special needs resource fair presented by Assemblywoman Melissa (Missy) Miller in conjunction with the National Council of Jewish Women Peninsula Section.

The fair take place on Sunday, June 24th from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Andrew J. Parise Park, in Cedarhurst, home of the first universally accessible playground on Long Island.

This is an event for people of all abilities and ages with over 35 different vendors in attendance.  Come and learn more about fitness and socialization programs for individuals with special needs, developmental preschools and special education school’s wheelchair ramps, stair lift and vertical platforms, and even a newspaper focused on special needs issues run by people with disabilities.

There will be fun activities for the whole family and refreshments will be provided! This is a great event that you do not want to miss.
