Early on Tuesday morning our long-planned project to repave many of the roads in the Village started with the milling of Locust Avenue, and parts of Park Avenue, Park Place, Linwood Avenue, Rugby Road and Buckingham Road. Final asphalt resurfacing will be rolled out in a few days, weather permitting. This will complete our first phase
We are planning to start a second phase in the near future. The total project will cost more than $500,000 and will be covered by the Department of Transportation’s Consolidated Local Street and Highway Improvement Program, also known as CHIPS.
